Gulf Coast Recovery Concierge Nursing Policies & Client Guidelines
Service Availability
Services are provided by appointment only and are subject to nurse availability. Advance
scheduling is recommended whenever possible, particularly for elective procedures and overnight care.
Initial Consultation
All clients must complete a complimentary consultation prior to booking services. This allows us to review your procedure, recovery goals, medical history, and determine whether concierge nursing services are appropriate.
Minimum Booking Requirement
A minimum booking of 4 hours is required for all in-home nursing services.
Payment Policy
Payment is due prior to the start of scheduled services unless otherwise approved in writing.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, ACH transfers, and other approved
electronic payments. Services are private pay; insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
More than 48 hours: no fee. 24–48 hours: 50% of scheduled services. Less than 24 hours: 100% of
scheduled services. Emergency medical situations will be reviewed individually.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to follow discharge instructions, communicate changes in condition, provide a safe
home environment, have medications available, and notify us of hospitalization or emergency care.
Scope of Practice
Registered Nurses provide care within the Florida Nurse Practice Act. We do not diagnose,
prescribe medications or replace emergency medical care. If an emergency occurs, 911 will be
called.
Medical Emergencies
Concierge nursing is not emergency medical care. Clients with life-threatening symptoms should
call 911 immediately.
Medication Policy
Nurses may provide medication reminders, assist with medications when legally permitted, and
monitor for side effects.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Client information is handled confidentially in accordance with applicable federal and Florida privacy laws.
Overnight Care
Overnight services include assessments, medication reminders, mobility assistance, infant care
when applicable, and ongoing monitoring based on the care plan.
Travel & Transportation
Transportation assistance is available only by prior arrangement and with appropriate medical
clearance when required.
Mother & Baby Services
Services support healthy mothers and newborns after discharge and do not replace obstetric or
pediatric care.
Home Safety
Services may be declined or discontinued if the environment is unsafe, including violence, illegal
drug activity, unsafe conditions, or unsecured aggressive animals.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Services
Services may be declined if care requested is outside scope, safety is compromised, medical needs exceed home care, or payment policies are not followed.
Non-Discrimination
We proudly serve clients without discrimination based on any protected characteristic.
Communication
Routine communications should occur during business hours unless related to an active scheduled shift.
Professional Boundaries
Nurses do not provide personal errands unrelated to care and maintain professional boundaries at all times.
